Skydive for Seals 2024
We have the ultimate adrenalin rush for 2024 – support the Cornish Seal Sanctuary by Skydiving for us!
New year, new challenge?
This year we have a brand new fundraising challenge for you! In conjunction with our friends at The Cornish Parachute Club in St Agnes, Cornwall, we have managed to secure an exclusive parachute jump date just for supporters of the Cornish Seal Sanctuary on Saturday 11th May 2024 and we challenge YOU to take to the skies and skydive for our seals!
When: Saturday 11th May 2024
Where: The Cornish Parachute Club in St Agnes, Cornwall
How: Download our registration form here
What better way to show your support for the Sanctuary than free-falling 5,000 feet at 120mph, before your parachute opens up and you gracefully glide over the beautiful coastline of North Cornwall! And don’t forget, all monies raised will go towards our ‘Fund Our Future’ campaign to help build our new seal pools here on-site.
PLUS we have a very special guest coming to join the action, TV presenter, Stuntman, Underwater Explorer and our very own SEALIFE TRUST Cornish Seal Sanctuary Ambassador, Andy Torbet!
Andy has presented on channels like BBC1, BBC2, Ch5, History, Discovery and National Geographic since 2011 with more shows due out in 2024. He is also a professional Stunt Performer and Member of the esteemed British Stunt Register having worked on blockbuster movies. To top it off Andy is also an accomplished skydiver having represented Team GB and the Skydiving World Championships and other international competitions since 2016 and will be jumping with those raising money for the Seal Sanctuary with his friends and Demo Team.
We have a limited number of spaces to fill, so if you want to tick skydiving off your bucket list and help to raise vital funds for a great cause…now is your chance!
The entrant raising the most sponsorship money for the event will win an amazing 'Keeper for the Day' experience here at the Sanctuary worth £175, giving you a chance to join our Animal Care team and look after our seals!
