Admission & Retail Assistant

Want seals and puffins as your co-workers? As an Admissions and Retail Assistant at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, you'll be the first face our guests see! Welcoming visitors, handling admissions, and helping run our retail area.
Flexible availability across 5 days a week, including weekends and bank holidays, is essential.
Sanctuary Cleaner
Part-Time Cleaner Permanent | 5 hours per week (guaranteed) | Gweek, Cornwall
The Cornish Seal Sanctuary is a pretty special place to work...and we need someone who takes pride in keeping it that way.
As part of our small cleaning team, you'll make sure every corner of the sanctuary is spotless, hygienic, and guest-ready, from the visitor areas and toilets to staff spaces and everything in between.

Guest Experience & Operations Support Host

Animal Care Assistant Trainee
Full-time | 12-month contract | Gweek, Cornwall
If you want to start your animal care career somewhere that really matters, this is a rare opportunity. Based at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, you'll be hands-on from day one. Supporting the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of grey seal pups, caring for our resident animals, and learning from an experienced team in one of the UK's most respected marine wildlife centres.
Over 12 months, you'll build practical skills across husbandry, animal welfare, life support systems, and public engagement, with the potential to progress into a permanent Animal Care Specialist role at the end of your contract.
This role involves working weekends and bank holidays, outdoor work in all weathers, and applicants must live within 20 minutes of the sanctuary
