Self Guided School Visit

At the Cornish Seal Sanctuary we want to make sure your school trip is educational, inspirational and fun! During your visit your pupils will get up close and personal with a range of amazing creatures. We believe the more they see, discover and learn, the more likely they are to want to protect our precious marine environment!

Your class will come face to face with our adorable rescued residents and learn all about why they came to live at the Sanctuary. Your class will be able to learn about a seal's journey from rescue to release at Cornwall's only Seal Rescue Centre & Hospital which is open to visitors.

PRIMARY SCHOOL SELF GUIDED PACKAGE

Daily talk and feeding demonstrations
Sanctuary Quiz Trail (optional)
1 free teacher for every 10 paying children.
Free coach parking

PRE-SCHOOL NURSERY SELF GUIDED PACKAGE

The perfect place to bring your group of excited children to learn about our pup rescue work, meet the residents on site and have a brilliant day out! The Cornish Seal Sanctuary offers a hands-on educational visit like no other, offering an experience beyond the classroom.

Your visit will include:

Daily talk and feeding demonstrations
1 free teacher for every 3 paying children.
Free coach parking
Under 3's are free
High viz available on request

Prices: £6.00 per person (includes one-off entry to the sanctuary)

SECONDARY SCHOOL/COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY SELF GUIDED PACKAGE

A visit to the Sanctuary is perfect for giving secondary students further understanding of a range of scientific topics, encouraging excitement and curiosity about marine phenomena in the natural world.

We understand that at this level your group may want a more in-depth understanding of the marine environment so please refer to Marine World Workshop - Onsite and we will do our best to meet your needs and create a unique package for you!
