We’ve teamed up with our friends at Skydive Buzz in Dunkerswell, Devon, to bring you an exclusive jump day just for you, our amazing supporters!

THE NITTY GRITTY... 

*Jump for Free scheme:

  • The minimum amount SEA LIFE TRUST Cornish Seal Sanctuary requires you to raise, in order to pay for your skydive using a portion of your sponsorship is £395.
  • £50 non-refundable deposit required when you book your jump.
  • A minimum of £145 goes to SEA LIFE TRUST Cornish Seal Sanctuary.
  • If you are raising all sponsorship online, you are required to bring on the day a copy of your online sponsorship page showing a minimum of £345 and we will invoice SEA LIFE TRUST Cornish Seal Sanctuary for the jump.
  • You cannot include Gift Aid as part of the minimum amount you need to raise.
  • The deposit is often considered as a self-contribution. If a supporter wishes to cover the cost of the jump (excluding the insurance) for free - Then they can raise the deposit in offline sponsorship either before or after creating the booking.

FAQ's

Are there age restrictions?

No maximum age. Minimum age of 16 years, under 18s require consent.

What is the weight limit?

All jumpers are weighed on the day and there is a charge of £20 per stone over 15 stone.

What do I need to bring on the day?

Please bring your medical form and proof of fundraising.

What should I wear?

Comfy clothing that you can move easily in. Trainers as footwear. We will provide a jumpsuit and glasses/goggles.

How long does the experience take?

Please allow 3 hours from your arrival.

Can I bring spectators?

Yes, there is plenty of free parking and an on-site café.

When should I arrive?

You are advised of an arrival time when you book - please check your confirmation email

How will I know if the jump is going ahead?

Skydiving is weather-dependent. We will update you at 4-5pm the day before.

Am I insured?

All jumpers are covered by British Skydiving third-party liability insurance (£24.23).

Can I drink alcohol before to calm my nerves?

Alcohol is not allowed at the drop zone. 

Can I take my phone/Go-pro with me?

Only specialist trained instructors are permitted to use cameras whilst skydiving.

Can I jump in the same plane as my friends?

Group boarding can be arranged on the day of the jump (subject to availability).

 

How your fundraising will support the seals:

£100 will help to build the foundations of the pools, to give our residents a brand new home

£200 will help to install new sunshades, to keep our residents cool in hot weather

£300 will help to will help to build our new quarantine area, to look after the residents who need medical treatment

£500 will help will help to build our new underwater viewing area, giving you an amazing view of our seals in their new home

£1,000 will help to install the new filtration system, keeping the water fresh and clean for longer
